Luka Doncic delivered a stellar all-around performance with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists as the Los Angeles Lakers rallied late to defeat the New Orleans Pelicans 110–101 on Tuesday night in Los Angeles. The victory marked the Lakers’ third consecutive win.

LeBron James added 21 points while shooting an efficient 8-of-12 from the field, along with seven rebounds and seven assists. DeAndre Ayton contributed 13 points and eight rebounds as the Lakers overcame 21 turnovers and a fourth-quarter deficit to secure the comeback win.

Los Angeles sealed the victory with a dominant late-game surge, scoring 14 straight points and finishing the game on a decisive 24–7 run. Austin Reaves played a crucial role despite a slow start. After missing his first eight shots, he recovered to score 15 points, including a key three-pointer with 5:04 remaining that gave the Lakers a 96–94 lead.

Marcus Smart also delivered a strong performance with 10 points, seven assists, four steals, and three blocks. He and Doncic hit clutch three-pointers in the final two minutes to put the game out of reach.

For the Pelicans, Zion Williamson led the way with 24 points in his return after missing one game due to an ankle injury. Trey Murphy III added 21 points while Saddiq Bey scored 18. New Orleans had built an eight-point lead with just over seven minutes left, but the Lakers tightened their defense and held the Pelicans scoreless for more than four minutes during the comeback.

James also moved closer to another milestone, now just two field goals behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s NBA record of 15,837 career baskets.

Next, the Pelicans visit Sacramento while the Lakers travel to Denver on Thursday night.
