The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters picked up their second straight win in the 2020 Philippine Cup by holding back Terrafirma Dyip, 91-82, inside the PBA bubble.
Rey Nambatac led the Elasto Painters with 19 points,, three assists and two steals. He got help from Beau Belga, Javee Mocon and Gabe Norwood who each contributed 14 points.
Mocon also had a double-double with 10 boards above his scoring production while Belga had 8.
On the other side, Cjay Perez led all scorers stuffing the stat sheet with 26 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, five steals and two blocks. Juami Tiongson supported with 14 points while Glen Khobuntin had 12.
It was rookie Roosevelt Adams who came up with a better performance compared to his debut game with 10 points and five boards.
Terrafirma will have to find answers quick as they will be battling the defending San Miguel Beermen next this Monday, October 19. Meanwhile, ROS will have just a day of rest before facing NorthPort Batang Pier on Sunday, October 18.
