2024 NBA Playoffs: Indiana Pacers Spark Milwaukee Bucks, Level Series 1-1

MILWAUKEE — Pascal Siakam showed the mettle that made him an champion in 2019.

The former Toronto Raptors forward scored 37 points to lead the Indiana Pacers to a convincing 125-108 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night at the Fiserv Forum.

“We’ve got to be the hungry team,” said Siakam, whose Pacers evened their opening round series at 1-1 with a chance to go up 2-1 with Game 3 scheduled Friday at the Gainbridge Filedhouse in downtown Indianapolis.

“We’ve got to be the team that’s coming in and wanting to show something. That’s the attitude that we’ve got to have against those guys, because they’ve done it before,” he added.

Even with his singular brilliance, Siakam needed plenty of help.

Myles Turner had 22 points and 7 rebounds. Andrew Nemhard had 20 and3 assists while Tyrese Halliburton finished with 12 points and 12 dimes.

After a dreadful Game 1, where they lost going away, the Pacers shot 55.6 percent from the field (50-of-90) and 44.4 percent from the 3-point arc (16-of-36).

Milwaukee’s Brook Lopez scored 22 points and shot 6 of 7 from 3-point range. Khris Middleton added 15 points while Bobby Portis had 14 points.
