Orlando, Florida – The Miami Heat were able to hold off the Indiana Pacers in Game 2 of their best-of-seven series, 109-100, to take a commanding 2-0 lead.
Duncan Robinson had a hot shooting night from beyond the three-point arc as he dropped seven triples over the Pacers. He was able to finish with 20 points while Goran Dragic was on point doing 20 points, six assists and three rebounds.
Jimmy Butler was able to contribute 18 points, seven rebounds, six assists and two steals but it was rookie Tyler Herro who had a good night off the bench finishing with 15 points along with five rebounds, three assists and three triples.
On the losing end, Victor Oladipo led the Pacers with 22 points but committed six turnovers. Malcolm Brogdon and Myles Turner each had 17 points but T.J. Warren was held to a subpar of 14 points for this game.
The Pacers need to win a crucial Game 3 to stay in the series and they will have that opportunity this Saturday, August 22.
