DAVAO CITY — Southpaw Joy Joy Formentera of Cebu lost by a unanimous decision to undefeated super flyweight Ryusei Kawaura of Japan on Wednesday at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
All the Japanese judges scored the fight 79-73.
It was the 4th loss by Formentera against 11 wins, while Kawaura tasted his seventh victory.
The promoter was Hiroshi Kawashima of Kawashima Promotions. (PNA)
