December 10, 2019 – Aries Toledo and Janry Ubas finishes strong in the conclusion of the decathlon event at the New Clark City Athletic Stadium on Tuesday.
Toledo collected a game-high 7033 points all throughout the tournament, highlighted by his strong showing at the javelin throw which he collected a game-high 654.
The Filipino also led in the 110-meter hurdle race, which he finished within 15.03 seconds.
Fellow Filipino decathlete Janry Ubas meanwhile grabbed the bronze medal in the tournament after collecting 6769 points.
Ubas reigned supreme meanwhile in the hgih jump and long jump events, which he collected 878 and 945 points, respectively.
Bui Van Su of Vietnam meanwhile secured the silver with 6911 points in his pocket.
The Vietnamese led all athletes in the 1500-meter run, which he finished four minutes and 47 seconds.
