Ayo Responds To Allegations Surrounding CJ Cansino, Sorsogon Bubble

UST head coach Aldin Ayo breaks his silence on the allegations surrounding the issues on CJ Cansino’s departure and the Sorsogon bubble.

Ayo expressed that Cansino opting out of UST is best for both parties.

“The circumstances of life today brought out the marked differences between my orientation in life and the fundamental option of our player CJ Cansino,” Ayo said in his statement. “We have found that it would be best that we part ways and allow maximum growth for each other.”

The former Letran and DLSU coach wishes his former player “Best of Providence” in his new team and expressed gratitude on the time Cansino spent during his stay in UST.

Ayo also responded to the circulating rumor that he held an unapproved basketball practice by his team in Sorsogon.

“I will not comment for now as UST is already investigating the matter as well as the IATF,” Ayo responds.

He also included that he will cooperate with the on-going investigations as the issue will be properly addressed in due time.
