LAS VEGAS — At a time when social media is rampant and people now have their own platforms to push themselves or their products, we at Sports On Air don’t like to honk our own horns.
Today, however, we pat ourselves on the back, sort of, but only to remind our readers that we are an NBA-accredited outfit that covers basketball at its highest levels. Last Wednesday USA Basketball also gave us accreditation.
Our NBA writer, Venancio Valencia Jr., who covers the Lakers and Clippers regularly at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, was at the T-Mobile Arena here in Sin City for the Team USA versus Team Canada friendly.
He will then proceed to cover the 2024 NBA Summer League at the Thomas and Mack Center where Filipino coach Ariel Vanguardia will be on the Atlanta Hawks staff.
