December 6, 2019 – Nguyen Thi That emerges victorious against 15 other cyclist in a photo finish with Filipino Jermyn Prado in women’s individual road event – mass start in Tagaytay.
Both Thi That and Prado finished the race within three minutes and 23 seconds, but it was the Vietnamese who clinched the gold medal.
Prado, who won the women’s individual time trial yesterday, settled for silver.
Ayustina Priatna completed the podium as she won bronze with three minutes and 25 seconds.
Priatna’s medal finish was also close, with Malaysia’s Ju Pha Som Net missing the podium by a few milliseconds.
