Diving: Malaysia’s Ng, Lai go 1-2 in 3-m springboard

December 6, 2019 – Malaysia grabs the top two spots the three-meter springboard diving in the New Clark City Aquatics Center on Friday.

Ng Yan Yee claims the gold medal after tallying a cumulative score of 298.90 in her five dives.

It was a successful retribution for Ng, as she was stripped off two silver medals in 2017 due to a failed doping test.

Fellow Malaysian diver Jasmine Lai Pui Yee added a silver in her collection after garnering 241.95 points.

Ngo Phuong Mai, last SEA Games’ bronze medalist in one-meter springboard, finished with another bronze medal after garnering 241.25 points in total.
