December 6, 2019 – Malaysia snatched a win in the men’s synchronized diving event affair at the New Clark City Aquatics Center.
The team of Ooi Tze Liang and Chew Yiwei garnered a total of 398.16 points, capped by a 78.54 point dive in the last round.
Thailand’s Chawanwat Junthapadawon and Thitipoom Marksin meanwhile took the silver as they tallied 344.76 points.
Singapore’s Timothy Lee Han Kuan and Mark Lee Han Ming secured the bronze after a 340.53 point performance.
The Lee brothers were denied of a silver after a 48.60-point final dive, which let the Thai duo go with the silver.
