Esports: EnDerr ends Blysk, bags Starcraft gold

December 10, 2019 – Caviar Napoleon “EnDerr” Acampado secures the third medal of the Philippines in Esports after winning the Starcraft II event inside the FilOil -Flying V Center in San Juan.

EnDerr, who goes by the in-game name of PHI.Acampado in the Southeast Asian Games, defeated German-born Singaporean Thomas Maria “Blysk” Kopankiewicz in the gold medal match.

The match also serve as a rematch of the group events, which the Filipino won earlier, 2-1.

EnDerr secured Game 1 of the best-of-seven series defeating the defenses of Blysk inside the World of Sleepers LE.

The Filipino made it 2-0 when he comfortably defeated the Singapore bet inside the Simulacrum LE.

Blysk, however, did not backed down and edged the Filipino in the third game to extend the series to a sure Game 5.

But EnDerr made sure he will go home undefeated in the tournament, ending Blysk’s hope of a comeback in the Triton and Ephemeron LEs.

Tran Hong Phuc, a.k.a. MeomaikA, clinched the bronze medal after losing two straight series, one against EnDerr in the upper bracket finals, and another to Blysk in the lower bracket finals.
