Golf: Pagdanganan, Go strike gold; men’s team take bronze

December 8, 2019 – Bianca Pagdanganan bags two gold medals while Lois Kaye Go hands one for the Philippines in women’s golf at the Luisita Golf and Country Club.

Pagdanganan secured a one-under-par 71 against Thailand to get the gold medal.

The gold medalist also strucked the metal in the team event with Lois Kaye Go, this time against the Malaysians.

Pagdanganan rallied against Natasha Oon, coming back from two holes down, while Go halved her match with Ashley Lau, ending the affair 1.5 to 0.5.

The men’s team brought home the bronze medal in the team event after defeating the Indonesians 2.5 to 1.5.

Luis Castro called it a day for the Philippines after defeating Indonesian counterpart Jonathan Wijono in two.
