LAS VEGAS — The Detroit Pistons walked away from their first Las Vegas Summer League game this Saturday with an 89-78 win against the Orlando Magic.
Kevon Harris scored 21 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Magic. Anthony Black, who Orlando picked up with the sixth pick in the 2023 NBA draft, added 17 points on an efficient seven of 10 shooting from the field.
Unfortunately for the Magic, their efforts were not enough.
They started the fourth quarter down eight, 64-56. A split pair of free throws by D.J. Wilson cut the lead to two points, 77-75 with four minutes to play. The Pistons would then go on a 12-3 run to win the game.
