SALT LAKE CITY. Even though his recovery from an MCL sprain will prevent him from playing in the 2023 NBA All-Star Game this Sunday, Kevin Durant made an appearance in the media availability session yesterday at the Huntsman Center.
The 34-year Durant, a 13-time All-Star, answered a wide-ranging sphere of questions including his upcoming stint with the Phoenix Suns. He also touched on the trade request he and Kyrie Irving made when both were still playing for the Brooklyn Nets.
The 6-foot-10, 240-pound Durant appeared in 39 games this season where he averaged 29.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists.
