December 9, 2019- Renalyn Dacquel managed to battle her way through to seal the Silver Medal for the Philippines in the Women’s Kickboxing 48kg Full Contact Finals for the 30th Southeast Asian Games at the Cuneta Astrodome.
Despite falling short to Vietnam’s Nga Nguyen, the Filipina showed plenty of heart as she resiliently battled earning her all fo the judges scorecards in round 2.
However, after Dacquel’s dominant Round 2 showing Vietnamese Gold Medalist Nga Nguyen started out strong gaining her the upper hand in both the first and final round.
