DALLAS — Eight-time All-Star Kyrie Irving is coming to the Philippines.

In an interview with Sports On Air NBA editor Homer Sayson, the 32-year old point guard didn’t specify a set date, saying only “very soon” as the Dallas Mavericks and the Boston Celtics continue to battle in the NBA Finals.

Already an NBA champ, Kyrie is participating in his fourth NBA Finals where his Mavericks are trailing the Celtics 0-3 with Game 4 set tomorrow at the American Airline Center.

Irving’s ANTA Kai 1 shoes debuted to stunning reviews and sales of late and the sneaker is selling like hotcakes in the Philippines.

Kyrie was a Nike endorser before separating with the shoe giant in December 2022. Prior to the split, a total of nine Kyrie lines were produced by the world-famous swoosh brand.

Signed by ANTA last July, Kyrie traveled to China last summer to prompt his latest sneaker collaboration. This time the Philippines appears to be in the itinerary.
