CHICAGO — The season hasn’t even started and there is already some uncomfortable news for the Chicago Bulls.
Lonzo Ball was a key player to the team’s hot start last season, averaging 13.0 points and 5.1 assists until he hurt his left knee on January 14, 2022, requiring surgery.
His production was sorely missed but the team and fans were hopeful for his return.
Unfortunately, Ball recently reported pain and discomfort in his knee when doing mundane tasks like climbing up the stairs at home. He can’t run or jump.
Ball underwent a second surgery for this on September 28, which marks the third knee surgery on his knee in his entire NBA career.
Lonzo Ball did not discount the possibility of missing the entire 2022-23 season.
