December 6, 2019 – Agus Prayogo delivers gold for Indonesia as he reigned supreme in the men’s marathon at the New Clark City Aquatics Stadium.
Prayogo finished the 42-kilometer run within two hours, 26 minutes and 48 seconds in his clock.
The Indonesian also improved his finish from a silver last 2017 in Kuala Lumpur and 2 hours and 31 minutes, five minutes slower.
Sanchai Namkhet of Thailand meanwhile finished second place with a time of two hours and 27 minutes, good for a silver medal.
Muhaizar Mohamad repeats his feat in Kuala Lumpur with another bronze medal in his bag.
Mohamad clocked two hours, 33 minutes, adn eight seconds to finish the game, slightly faster than his nearest competitor.
Cambodia’s Viro Ma and Tony Ah Thit Payne meanwhile did not finish the 12-man race
