Men’s Wushu: Indonesia, Vietnam cop golds

December 3, 2019 – Indonesia and Vietnam emerge victorious on the third day of men’s wushu at the World Trade Center on Tuesday.

Edgar Xavier Marvelo of Indonesia take home the gold after earning 19.36 points in men’s taolu daoshu/gunshu combined event.

Jowen Si Wei Lim of Singapore finished second with 19.32 points, while Vietnam’s Tran Xuan Hiep got the bronze with 19.30.

Vietnam’s Pham Quoc Khanh reigned supreme in the men’s taolu nanquan, finishing first with 9.65 points.

Harris Horatius of Indonesia placed second with 9.63, while Myanmars Oo Thein Than ended with the bronze medal with 9.62 points.

Indonesians stood strong on the three-man taolu duilian event, with the team of Marvelo, Horatius, and Seraf Naro Siregar getting the gold after getting 9.54 points.

Sain Majdurano Joel Majallah and Muhd Safiee Shayferan teamed up to earn Brunei a silver medal, finishing with 9.5 points.

Johnzenth Gajo, Jones Inso, and Thornton Quieney Lou Sayan of the Philippines finished with the bronze with 9,49 points.
