This is after she emerges victorious in the women’s individual beach triathlete event at the Subic Bay Boardwalk.
Putri clocked 19 minutes and 52 seconds, nine seconds ahead of her nearest rival.
Compatriot Cintya Nariska made it a 1-2 finish for Indonesia, clinching silver within 20 minutes and two seconds.
Sanruthai Aransiri of Thailand completed the podium as she finish with 20 minutes and 50 seconds, 48 seconds behind Nariska.
Both Nariska and Aransiri will be part of their countries’ teams in the beach triathlete relay event tomorrow.
