The Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League Commissioner Kenneth Duremdes has released a memo that all players that are participating in VisMin Cup or any other professional league will be branded as an “ex-pro” in their league rules.
This act will heavily affect Basilan Steel or known as in VisMin Cup who will be fielding the entire squad including newly added players Michael Mabulac and Jong Baloria.
By rule, the MPBL allows teams to roster seven ex-pros and can only field five of them per game.
