INDIANAPOLIS — What time is it?

It was Dame Time at the All-Star 3-point shooting contest where Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard won his second straight title by holding off an impressive field of challengers.

And Lillard did it in style, too, swishing the winning bucket on his last corner 3.

After getting through to the final round via a tiebreaker, the former Blazers star made it to his final rack tied at 24 points with Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young.

Lillard missed the first four shots from the left corner but sank the final one to earn the win.

“It’s only right that I do it with some drama,” Lillard said on the TNT broadcast following his victory. “I didn’t know what I had. I just heard the crowd going, ‘Ooh.’ I knew I had to make the last shot to get the win.”

Lillard became only the eighth player in the NBA history to capture multiple 3-Point Contests. Noo one has won two in a row since Jason Kapono dominated in 2007 and 2008.

Lillard did it last year with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Four of the eight hooters in the first round finished with 26 points — Lillard, Young, Minnesota Timberwolves forward Karl-Anthony Towns and Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton — to force a tiebreaker

Since only three players could advance to the final round, a 30-second tiebreaker was held to see which three would move on. Haliburton finished with just 12 points and failed to advance.1
