NBA: Butler’s 40 Upset Bucks In Game 1, Heat Leads Series 1-0

Florida, USA – The Miami Heat comes up with an upset victory in Game 1 against the Milwaukee Bucks, 115-104, thanks to Jimmy Butler‘s career playoff-high of 40 points. Heat takes an early 1-0 series lead over the Bucks.

Butler was a man on a mission as he was a key figure in the huge fourth quarter run by the Miami Heat. He finished with 40 points on a 13-20 shooting from the field and also had four rebounds, two assists, two steals, two three-pointers and a block.

Goran Dragic followed through Butler’s efforts with 27 points, six rebounds and five assists while Bam Adebayo controlled the paint with 12 points, 17 rebounds, six assists and two steals. Rookie Tyler Herro also had his moments in the game as he contributed with 11 points.

On the side of the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo was held to just 18 points but had a near triple-double of 10 rebounds an nine assists. Khris Middleton led the team with 28 points while Brook Lopez had a good night with 24.

The Bucks have lost the first game of their playoff series twice this year and they look to bounce back in Game 2 this coming Wednesday, September 2.
