CHICAGO — For the sixth year in a row, Donovan Mitchel is an All-Star. And according to an official NBA release he will be among the starters in the Eastern Conference.
Joining the 28-year old guard in the East’s powerhouse starting unit is Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, JaysonTatum of the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks teammates Jalen Brunson and Karl Anthony-Towns.

In the Western Conference, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers leads a cast of an impressive starting unit that includes Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets, Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns.
Upon his selection, Mitchell had appeared in 47 games this season where he averaged 23.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists in each of those starts.
The 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend kicks off on February 14 in San FRancisco featuring events such as the Rising Stars Challenge, the Celebrity Game, the 3-point shootout and the Slam Dunk championships.
