SAN FRANCISCO — Jordan Poole showed the stuff that earned him a four-year $123 million contract extension with the Golden State Warriors last October.

The 23-year old Poole, a 6-foot-4, 194-pound all-purpose guard scattered 41 points on 14-of-23 shooting from the field. The University of Michigan alum swished 5-of-10 triples and went 8-of-9 from the free throw stripe.

“All four wins required an element of grit,” coach Steve Kett told reporters of the Warriors’ four-game winning streak. “Our fans can feel it, our fans have been great. I think they’re really enjoying watching this time right now.”

There was plenty to like from those Warriors.

Klay Thompson drilled seven treys to finish with 31 while Draymond Green added 10 points, 11 rebounds and four dimes as the Warriors made 46.2 percent of the field goal attempts (42-of-91) and 46. 3 percent from beyond the arc (7-of-15).

The Warriors waxed hot early and built an 18-point bubble before the visiting Blazers came roaring back to take an 11-point lead in the thid quarter. The rest of the game went back-and-forth paving the way for the tight finish in the end.

Golden State burnished its record to 19-18 while the Blazers added one to the loss column and dropped to 18-17.
