LOS BAÑOS, Philippines—Mervin Guarte and Sherwin Managil completed the Philippine domination of the Southeast Asian Games individual five-kilometer, 20-obstacle races on Friday after they topped the men’s division at Filinvest City in Muntinlupa.
Guarte took the gold medal after he was done in 25 minutes and 31 seconds.
Managil came in second for the silver with the time of 26:16, 45 seconds behind Guarte.
Mohd Saddam bin Mohd Pittli of Malaysia took home the bronze after completing the course in 28:02.
