December 5, 2019 – Vietnam claims another gold in the bag in pencak silat as Tran Thi Them trips her opponent in the finals of tanding class B.
Tran earned full five points in her finals matchup against Jeni Jeni Kause of Indonesia at the Subic Bay Exhibit and Convention Center.
Singapore’ Saiful Nurul Suhaila Mohamed and Lao PDR’s Sounthavong Olathai shared the third place finish after reaching the semifinals.
Both Mohamed and Sounthavong suffered a 0-5 drubbing last December 4 to Tran and Kause, respectively.
