Gushengtang TCM plans to generate SGD 1 billion in revenue over the next 7 years through clinic expansion, AI-driven clinical systems, and HSA-certified products.
Publicly listed Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) group Gushengtang TCM is expanding into Singapore with bold plans to establish 30 TCM clinics by 2026 and roll out its proprietary ‘Master TCM AI’ system across the island.
Gushengtang will focus on three areas of regional growth: expanding its clinic network, advancing its AI-powered clinical system, and obtaining international certification for its medical products. This aligns with the company’s broader goal of integrating traditional and modern medicine. The initiative follows a strategic investment agreement with August Global Partners (AGP), a Singapore-based fund management company focused on healthcare, advanced manufacturing, and AI-powered health technologies. Together, the collaboration aims to achieve SGD 1 billion in revenue in Singapore over the next seven years.
Gushengtang introduces Master TCM AI system
Gushengtang, recognised as one of the fastest-growing professional TCM groups in Asia, aims to open 30 clinics across Singapore by the end of 2026, supported by local partnerships and the introduction of its ‘Master TCM AI’ system. Officially launched at GovWare 2025, the system combines three decades of clinical experience with artificial intelligence to help physicians deliver more precise, data-backed TCM care.
Built from the clinical insights of 10 expert physicians, the system spans eight major specialities: oncology, dermatology, gastroenterology, otolaryngology, andrology, psychology and sleep medicine, classical formula medicine, and orthopaedics.
‘Master TCM AI’ supports doctors across five key stages of care: symptom collection, medical record generation, syndrome differentiation, prescription formulation, and post-consultation follow-up.
For physicians, the platform serves as a clinical co-pilot, offering evidence-informed recommendations and supporting case analysis. For patients, it enhances continuity of care by tracking treatment outcomes and offering lifestyle recommendations aligned with TCM principles.
Gushengtang partners 1doc
Alongside its AI innovation, Gushengtang has signed a strategic partnership with 1doc, a subsidiary of IAPPS Health Group (IHG), to bring TCM into Western family clinics across Singapore. The partnership allows patients to consult both TCM and Western physicians under one roof, with coordinated care plans that combine modern diagnostics and traditional healing.
The collaboration will leverage 1doc’s network of nine owned and 21 affiliated clinics, which currently serve about 79,000 patients islandwide.
“This partnership integrates modern medicine with traditional Chinese medicine in a coordinated, evidence-based approach,” said Dr Lam Pin Min, Chairman of IAPPS Health Group and former Minister of State for Health and Transport. “It reflects Singapore’s vision of patient-centred care, where both systems work together to deliver better outcomes.”
Gushengtang’s expansion aligns with Singapore’s 2025 TCM Integrative Sandbox Initiative, which focuses on evaluating the efficacy and value-based outcomes of TCM treatments. The company views Singapore as both a gateway for international growth and a testbed for digital health integration.
“Our collaboration with 1doc and August Global Partners marks an important milestone in integrating Traditional Chinese Medicine into Singapore’s healthcare ecosystem,” said Mdm Vicky Liem, Vice President of Gushengtang TCM Group. “By combining the clinical wisdom of master physicians with AI innovation and high-quality herbal medicine, we aim to elevate TCM standards, enhance therapeutic outcomes, and contribute to a truly collaborative model of East-West healthcare for the benefit of all patients in Singapore.”
