December 5, 2019- It was a historic moment for Singapore as Nazri Sutari delivered the country’s first SEA Games Gold Medal on Thursday for the men’s combat sambo under-82kg at the Angeles University Foundation Gymnasium in Angeles City, Philippines.
Sutari marked an 8-point victory after defeating Indonesia’s Jason Sim to bag the coveted Gold Medal.
Fellow Singaporean compatriot Ashvin Singh bagged the Silver Medal in the Under-74kg final after losing by eight points to the Philippines’ Mark Striegl.
