SEA Games officially opens with a unique taste of Filipino culture

November 30, 2019 – The 30th Southeast Asian Games took off on the right foot with a dazzling opening night celebration as delegates were treated with a unique blend of Filipino culture at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.

The night kicked off with Lani Misalucha singing the national anthem in front of the 20,000 spectators who crowded the world’s largest indoor stadium.

It was followed by cultural performances and a medley of songs that featured local artists such as Aicelle Santos, Christan Bautista, Elmo Magalona, KJ Tandingan, The TNT Boys, Inigo Pascual, Robert Sena, Ana Fegi and Black Eyed Peas’ Apl.de.ap.

The Chairman of the 30th SEA Games organizing committee Speaker Allan Peter Cayetano delivered his speech as well.
