December 5, 2019 – Fafan Khoirul Anwar beats seven other competitors to clinch gold in the mixed benchrest air rifle indiviual event at the Marine Corps Training Center.
Anwar tallied a total score of 747 points, with 36 of his 75 shots hitting the bull’s eye.
Ditto Nestor Dinopol of the Philippines settled for silver after being a point shy of tying Anwar’s tally.
Dinopol, however, hits 32 of his 75 shots in the bull.
Anwar’s compatriot Anung Satrio Wibowo completed the podium as he finished third in the event.
Wibowo garnered a total of 742 points while hitting 40% of his shots in the bull’s eye.
Supamas Wankaew, the only female participant in the event, placed fifth as the Thai registered 722 points.
