The tandem of Vidya Rafika Rahmatan Toyyiba and Fathur Gustafian outscored Thailand’s Tararat Morakot and Napis Tortungpanich.
Indonesia combined for 17 points, compared to Thailand’s seven.
Singapore, meanwhile, edged Malaysia to claim the bronze medal in the battle for third place.
Adele Tan Qian Xu and Emmanuel Chan En Yue combined for 17 points to get the bronze, beating Taibi Nur Suryani Mohamed and Mohamad Othman’s 15 points.
