December 8, 2019 – Sisters Bien Zoleta-Mañalac and Bambi Zoleta reigned supreme against their Thai competitors in the finals of the women’s doubles in soft tennis at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center.
The Zoletas led early in the game with a 3-1 lead over the Thai duo of Sawitre Naree and Natchatridja Kersomboon, eventially taking the first set, 4-1.
Bien and Bambi continued their well-oiled performance in front of the home fans, taking the second set 6-4.
Naree and Kersomboon, however fought back in the third set with four games to three, but the Zoletas took three straight games, turning it into a 6-4 third set.
The Filipino due continued their domination, taking both sets four and five, sweeping the Thais.
