Squash: Philippines dominates its way to Mixed Team Gold Medal

December 7, 2019- A showing of pure dominance was highlighted by the Philippines as it breezed its way to a clean 3 single outing, bagging the Gold Medal against Singapore in the Squash Mixed team category for the 30th Southeast Asian Games at the Manila Polo Club.

The trio of Jemyca Aribado, Robert Garcia, and Reymark Begornia powered the Philippines to a successful podium finish.

The Philippine’s Jemyca Aribado won all three Sets in the 1st Single against Wai Au Yeong of Singapore. (11-7, 11-7,11-8)

Robert Garcia kept the Filipino’s momentum alive also being victorious in three sets against Singapore’s Shan Kang who gave a hard fight (11-7, 11-7, 11-9)

The third Single was the icing on the cake for the Philippines as Reymark Begornia completely dominated Jon Liang Aaron (11-0, 11-0, 11-0)
