Taiwu Gallery opens in Singapore’s Chinatown as the officially appointed Dehua Blanc de Chine promotion center. It showcases handcrafted porcelain, contemporary lacquer art, and artisanal teaware, blending cultural experiences with retail to share the artistry of Dehua porcelain and tea culture.
Singapore, October 2025 —
Taiwu Gallery, located in the heart of Singapore’s Chinatown, has been officially appointed by the Dehua County Ceramic Office as the Overseas Promotion & Exhibition Center for Blanc de Chine – Dehua Porcelain. This marks a new milestone in the internationalization of Dehua’s ceramic heritage and underscores China’s commitment to cultural exchange through craftsmanship.
Operated by Taiwu Pte. Ltd., Taiwu Gallery is the physical extension of BestCeramics.cn, a platform founded in 2019 dedicated to promoting Dehua porcelain, Chinese teaware, and lacquer art. Situated at 254 South Bridge Road, within a century-old heritage shophouse, the gallery stands just steps away from Singapore’s Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Sri Mariamman Temple — a cultural intersection symbolic of harmony and tradition.
As the officially designated Dehua Porcelain Promotion Center, Taiwu Gallery serves as a bridge between Chinese heritage craftsmanship and Southeast Asian modern aesthetics. Through curated exhibitions, cross-cultural events, and tea art showcases, the gallery introduces the refined artistry and serene spirit of Blanc de Chine to a global audience.
“We hope Taiwu Gallery becomes a window through which people can feel the warmth, elegance, and philosophy of Dehua porcelain,” said Sihan Wang, Founder of Taiwu Gallery. “This is more than an artistic showcase — it’s a cultural dialogue that connects the heart of Fujian’s craftsmanship with the world.”
A representative from the Dehua Ceramic Office added, “Blanc de Chine is not only a symbol of China’s ceramic excellence but also a bridge of friendship between cultures. Appointing Taiwu Gallery as our Singapore center is an important step toward expanding Dehua’s global cultural influence.”
Looking forward, Taiwu Gallery will collaborate with Singaporean art institutions, museums, and universities to organize exhibitions, talks, and cultural events celebrating Blanc de Chine. By combining its physical space with BestCeramics.cn’s online platform, Taiwu Gallery aims to create an integrated ecosystem that blends cultural storytelling with modern commerce.
