Tyrese Maxey delivered another explosive scoring performance, pouring in 29 points and knocking down seven 3-pointers to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to a 128-113 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night in Inglewood, California. The victory marked Philadelphia’s fourth consecutive win as the team continues to build momentum despite key absences.

Dominick Barlow provided a massive boost inside, finishing with 26 points and 16 rebounds, while Joel Embiid added 24 points as he continues to regain full form following a right ankle injury. The Sixers improved to 11-10 in games without Paul George, who remains sidelined while serving a 25-game suspension for violating the NBA’s anti-drug program.

The matchup featured two star players who were notably left off the All-Star reserves list. Embiid anchored Philadelphia on both ends, while Kawhi Leonard paced Los Angeles with 29 points. Jordan Miller contributed 21 points off the bench for the Clippers, who were again without James Harden. Harden missed his second straight game for personal reasons, with head coach Tyronn Lue confirming he remained at home in Phoenix.

Philadelphia seized control early, leading wire to wire and building a 23-point advantage before settling for a commanding 72-53 halftime lead. Although the Clippers outscored the Sixers 34-28 in the third quarter, Maxey, Barlow, and Embiid combined for 22 points in the period to keep the visitors firmly in front at 100-87.

Leonard sparked briefly in the fourth with two dunks and a three-pointer, but Los Angeles never mounted a sustained run and he spent the closing minutes on the bench.

The Clippers, now 8-3 in their last 11 games, continue to battle for position in the play-in race. Philadelphia heads to Golden State to close a back-to-back, while Los Angeles hosts Cleveland next.
