December 8, 2019 – The Philippines end the final day of waterski and wakeboard events at the DECA Wakeboard Park with three medals at hand.
Raphael Trinidad and Ralph Gelo Villaro scored a silver and bronze respectively in the men’s wakeboarding event.
Trinidad registered 69.33 points on the better of his two runs, good for second place, while Villaro scored 61.00 points to end up with third.
Thailand however got the bragging right as Sanya Phontip took home the gold with a 72.67-point performance.
Samantha Bermudez also added a silver medal for the country as she finished second in the women’s wakeboard category.
Bermudez tallied 62.67 points on her best run, only eclipsed by a 72.33-point second rounder from Patcharaporn Junnguluam.
Nadya Sinaga took the bronze medal, as the Indonesian scored a far 45.33 points in her best take.
