Women’s Bowling: Singapore inches way to Gold Medal finish in Team of 4 Category

December 6, 2019- It was a showcase of Singaporean heart as the country bagged the Gold Medal award in the Team of 4 Category for Women’s Bowling. The Gold Medal podium finish was led by the team of Jing Tan, Hui New, Zhi Ng, and Hua Tan at the Coronado Lanes, EDSA Starmall, Philippines for the 30th Southeast Asian Games.

The Gold Medal quartet was able to tally a total score of 4,833 points, closely inching their way over Silver Medalist Malaysia who came close with a total of 4,803 points.

The Malaysian squad was represented by Mei Chea, Jane Sin, Shalin Zulkifli, and Siti Abdul.

After staying within striking distance for the Gold and Silver Medal awards, it was a Bronze Medal bagged by the Philippines with the efforts of Maria Del Rosario, Marian Posadas, Bea Hernandez, and Marie Alexis as they combined with 4,735 points.
