Women’s Skateboarding: Philippines’ Margielyn Didal, Christiana Means take gold and silver

BINAN, Philippines–The Philippines took the top two spots in the skateboarding Game of SKATE competition of the Southeast Asian Games at the Sigtuna Hall of the Tagaytay International Convention Center on Thursday.

Margielyn Didal took the gold, while Christiana Means settled for the silver in the said event.

In a knockout tournament format, Didal and Means forced the all-Filipino match-up after beating Indonesians Nyimas Cinta and Kyandra Susanto respectively. Didal eventually edged Means in the final for the gold.

Cinta, on the other hand, defeated Susanto for the bronze.
