December 1, 2019 – Filipino and Indonesian triathletes rack up the medals to officially start Day 1 of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games in the Subic Bay Boardwalk on Sunday.
Kim Mangrobang retains her SEA Games title in the event, which covers 1.5 kilometers of swimming, 40 kilometers bike and a 10-kilometer run
Mangrobang, who reigned supreme in the 2017 edition in Putrajaya, Malaysia, clocked in at two hours and two minutes.
Fellow compatriot Kim Kilgroe secured her first SEA Games medal within two hours and five minutes, completing her debut in an impressive note.
Nethhavani Octaria completed the podium, as the Indonesian finished the race 11 minutes after Kilgroe to secure the bronze.
