NBA: Nuggets Stay Alive, Beats Jazz In Game 5 Behind Murray’s 42

Orlando, USA – The Denver Nuggets live for another day as Jamal Murray scores 42 points to lift his team over the Utah Jazz in Game 5, 117-107. Jazz still leads the series, 3-2.

Murray’s 42 leads all scorers and he also had eight rebounds, eight assists and four three-pointers to go with it. Nikola Jokic came up big draining seven three-pointers including a dagger in the last two minutues of gameplay. He finished with 31 points, six rebounds, four assists and a block.

Michael Porter Jr. chipped in with 15 points off the bench while Jerami Grant added 13 as the starting forward.

On the other side of the fence, Donovan Mitchell had a 30-point performance along with five assists and four triples. Mike Conley and Jordan Clarkson each had 17 for the Jazz.

Nuggets can tie the series as they enter another do-or-die game this coming Thursday, August 27.
