Gympie jobseekers will have the chance to connect directly with employers and explore job opportunities at the upcoming STEPS Employment Expo, held on Wednesday 12 November at STEPS Gympie.
The free event is designed to bring together local businesses, NDIS providers, and motivated jobseekers in one dynamic space, creating a welcoming environment for meaningful conversations and career-building connections.
STEPS CEO Cassie Stanley shared her excitement for the upcoming expo and said it’s an exciting event for jobseekers and employers alike.
“We’re proud to host an event that supports people in taking the next step in their career journey,” said Ms Stanley.
“The STEPS Employment Expo is about creating inclusive opportunities and pathways and helping people in the community feel confident, capable, and connected.”
The Gympie event follows the success of STEPS’ inaugural Employment Expo on the Sunshine Coast, which saw strong attendance across many industries including aged care, disability support, manufacturing, and community services.
STEPS invites those who are entering the workforce for the first time, returning after a break, changing their career path, or exploring their options to attend the Employment Expo.
The event offers a unique opportunity to connect with potential employers and industry professionals, discover job openings tailored to their skills and interests, develop their confidence and expand their professional network, and engage in face-to-face conversations that could lead to exciting career opportunities.
STEPS Employment Expos are part of the organisation’s ongoing commitment to empowering individuals through education, training, and lifechanging skill development. By fostering strong partnerships between local employers and jobseekers, STEPS aims to reduce barriers to employment and help make the Gympie community more connected.
All interested parties are invited to attend the STEPS Employment Expo in Gympie on Wednesday 12 November 2025 from 10am to 2pm at STEPS Gympie, 18 Channon Street for free.
