MANILA, Philippines- Highlights of strength, will, and poise were displayed by Malaysia’s Muhhamad Aznir Bin (Bronze Medal), Vietnam’s Thach Kim Tuan (Silver Medal) and Indonesia’s (Gold Medal) as each bagged their place on the podium on Monday (Dec.2, 2019) for the Men’s 61-kilogram Weightlifting tournament of the 30th South East Asian Games.
Senior lifter Eko Yuli Irawan, three-time Olympic medalist, ended with the coveted Gold Medal adding to Indonesia’s much needed 6th Overall Gold Medal.
Vietnam added their 17th Silver Medal tally after Tuan’s second place finish. While Aznir Bin’s third-place outing gives Malaysia’s fourth bronze medal in the overall tally.
