Popolo Music Group (PMG), a rising global music label, is now holding online auditions to discover the next generation of K-pop and P-pop stars. Open worldwide, with a primary focus in the Philippines, PMG is scouting singers, dancers, and performers for future solo acts, girl groups, and boy bands. Auditions are ongoing and can be submitted at www.AuditionKpop.com or via email at demos@popolomusic.asia. PMG employs a digital-first approach to evaluate a candidate’s attitude, motivation, and responsiveness. Those who advance may be invited to a 6-month training program, with top talents receiving a record or management deal.
Popolo Music Group (PMG), the dynamic international record label dedicated
to elevating P-Pop and Asian pop to global heights, is proud to announce the
overwhelming success of its innovative online audition program. Since launching
the digital platform, PMG has received a surge of applications from across the
Philippines, reaffirming what the company has long believed: the nation is a
treasure trove of exceptional, world-class talent.
In an era where accessibility and authenticity
are more important than ever, PMG’s digital-first approach is not only
practical but also revealing. “The online audition isn’t just a submission
portal—it’s a test of initiative, coordination, and motivation,” says a PMG
spokesperson. “It gives us a first impression of who’s serious about a music
career—and who’s just curious.”
Applicants are asked to submit a 1–2 minute
performance and intro video, along with 2–3 photos and their basic information.
From there, PMG’s team evaluates not just talent, but also how quickly and
professionally a candidate responds to follow-up emails. These follow-ups serve
a dual purpose: to assess the candidate’s attitude and to gauge their ability
to follow direction and communicate effectively—essential traits in the music
industry.
PMG has implemented a strict yet fair system:
candidates who display diva-like behavior, poor coordination, or entitlement
are swiftly removed from the pool. In contrast, those who exhibit humility,
focus, and genuine motivation are allowed to move forward. For standout
applicants, it is not unusual to receive a trainee contract even before a live
audition is scheduled.
Those invited to the live audition and
interview phase often continue on to PMG’s intensive 6-month artist development
program. This training includes vocal coaching, dance instruction, music
production, and songwriting workshops. Upon successful completion of the
program, the most promising trainees are awarded solo or group recording and
management deals under the PMG banner.
“Our process might be unconventional, but
it’s built on a foundation of respect and real opportunity,” adds PMG’s
Founder and CEO. “We’re not just looking for talent—we’re looking for
character. Because in this industry, a great attitude is just as essential as a
great voice.”
The surge in applications has made one thing
clear: the Philippines is poised to lead the next wave of Asian pop. With
fluent English, deep emotional expression, and a vibrant musical culture,
Filipino artists are ready to dominate the global stage—and PMG is prepared to
guide them there.
